The Program
The practical training can be done in English.
Before passing the EASA pratical examination, you must have at least 45 hours of flying.
All those flights are always supervised by the Flight Instructor (FI). Typically after 10 to 15 hours in dual command, you will master enough to be able to fly a small single engine plane: the time for your first supervised solo flight! A big step, very emotional.
In those minimum 45 hours of flying, you need to have at least:
- At least 25 hours in dual-command
- At least 10 hours of supervized solo flight
- At least 5 hours of cross-country navigation in solo flight (landing in another airfield than Spa and back)
- A solo flight on at least 270 km and landing in two different airfields
